Scones for Saturday Afternoon Tea



Cranberries Chocolate Chips Scones






Preheat oven to 220'c for 20 minutes.
Lined a baking tray with parchment paper.

Ingredients:

160gm            butter
60gm              sugar
440gm            selfraising  flour

Rub this ingredients to form a bread
crumb texture

80gm               cranberries
80gm               chocolate chips

Mix this ingredients into the flour mixture.

220gm               milk
1tbsp                 lemon juice
1no                    egg
1tsp                   vanilla

Mix the above ingredients well.

Made a hole in the flour mixture the pour the cream mixture into the hole. Keep some liquid for glazing.

Use a scrapper to fold flour into the centre
until the mixture form a doughy texture.

Pour the dough on a table top dusted with flour.  Lightly press the dough into  3/4"
thick.   Cut dough with ring cutter or just cut into squares.

Glaze the scones with the remaining cream mixture.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
